Central Valley Virtual Learning High School provides alternative learning options for all students. To register, please select the registration button below.
Credit Advancement Summer School is for students who want to get ahead in credits or courses and for students who wish to improve their passing grade (D or better) in courses previously taken.
Important Dates & Information
- Manditory Virtual Orientation on Friday, June 20, 2025 (Invitations will be emailed in June)
- Credit Advancement Summer School Dates: Monday, June 23, 2025 - Friday, July 11, 2025 (No school on July 4, 2025)
- Open to students in the Class of 2026 (12), 2027 (11), 2028 (10), 2029 (9). Students who will be freshmen during the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to complete a course for credit advancement.
- Students may only enroll in one course for credit advancement; there is not sufficient time to complete 2!
- Fees must be paid before summer school starts, or students will be withdrawn.
- This is not a credit retrieval program. If students need to make up a failed course, register for Credit Retrieval Summer School below.

- Algebra 1A & 1B
- Algebra 2A & 2B
- Civics
- Current World Problems
- Geometry A & B
- Health
- Fitness
Credit Recovery Summer School is for enrolled students of Central Valley School District. Courses requested must have been previously taken and failed by the student. If the student is wanting to improve their passing grade (D or above) or get ahead, register for Credit Advancement Summer School above.

Credit Retrieval Summer School Dates: June 24 – July 11 (No school on July 4)

Daily Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

- Schedules: Class schedules will be posted to PowerSchool before the first day of summer school so students know where to go.
- Electives: Students needing an elective should select 'elective' on the registration form. We’ll work through placements from the counselor sheet as they need them.
For students who need to take 1-2 classes due to scheduling issues or who wish to accelerate their learning.
For students who want to fully transfer to our online school at CVVLHS. Students transfer out of their current school and into CVVLHS.
If you are currently enrolled in CVVL HS there is no need to register again. You will stay in CVVL HS unless you request a transfer back to your resident school.
